Indiana Michigan Power is a subsidiary of American Electric Power (AEP) and delivers electricity to customers in parts of Indiana and Michigan.
UtilityAPI’s integration supports data access for Michigan customers only via our Green Button OAuth data access method.

🔌 Where does UtilityAPI get IMP data from?
UtilityAPI collects IMP customer data by running a set of automated jobs — called tasks — that retrieve different types of information via API through a connection with our partner OPower.
OPower is integrated with IMP's Meter Data Management System (MDMS) and Customer Information System (CIS).
🔌 How does UtilityAPI access Indiana Michigan Power data?
UtilityAPI uses the Green Button OAuth access method to collect data from Michigan customers in Indiana Michigan Power’s service territory. This is a secure, standards-based integration supported by the utility.
