Duration Based Pricing FAQ

Duration Based Pricing is how you are charged for on-demand collections.

Duration Based Pricing is a pricing model we launched in March 2025 that charges your account per month of data or a flat fee rate based on the number of months of data successfully collected from each meter. To learn more about how you are charged, click here.

The table below shows the costs of collecting data from one (1) meter at different data durations.

How does Duration Based Pricing work for Sub users?

Data duration is set at the individual user level. Each user on an account would need to modify the data duration in their settings to the standard data duration for their company.

If a data duration for an individual user account has not been set, the data duration default will be 12 months of data.

How does Duration Based Pricing work with a Prepaid account package?

All accounts on a Pay As You Go, $50, $250, $1,000, or $3,000 prepaid plan will receive the same per-unit and fixed fee pricing described above for on-demand data collections. Scheduled collections made using our ongoing monitoring subscription will be discounted as shown on our pricing page.

Regardless of the collection type, your account's prepaid balance or credit card on file will be charged each time a successful collection or monitoring of a meter is completed You can see your usage and payment history in your dashboard.
